Celebrating Girls' Day 2024 with us
On April 25, 2024, Eve, Johanna, and Nicola joined us to delve into industrial mechanics, focusing on the medical technology sector. They crafted their own metal workpieces, gaining hands-on experience in metalworking. After demonstrating their dexterity with our precision instruments in a game, they enjoyed a relaxed pizza lunch with our trainees and trainers and discussed possible career paths at Sutter. A huge thanks to our motivational young guests – we're eager to welcome you back, possibly as apprentices!
Girls' Day and Boys' Day annually offer insights into professions where women or men are underrepresented. This year, with over 23,000 events nationwide and more than 175,000 spots available for students, the initiative reached a record participation. The day supports children and teens in early career orientation and combats skill shortages.
