On a sunny Wednesday evening it was our pleasure to welcome more than 50 distributors from 22 nations to our 8th Sutter Distributor Conference^© in Freiburg, Germany. Our welcome get-together was a wonderful opportunity to get to know colleagues from all around the world on a more personal level before the scientific program of the next two days began.

In addition to the training provided by our sales team, our partners had the pleasure of hearing lectures from three renowned doctors. Randolf Riemann, MD (Elbe Clinical Center, Stade/Germany) gave a presentation on the advantages of radiofrequency in the field of dermatosurgery and small tumor surgery. Benedikt Hofauer, MD (University Hospital, Freiburg) highlighted the merits of radiofrequency and low lateral thermal damage in radiofrequency-assisted surgery in head and neck surgery.

In the area of neurosurgery, Markus Bittl (Klinikum Stuttgart/Germany) covered the subject "Versatility in Neurosurgery: Determining which bipolar instrument works best depending on indication and approach". In addition, Janina Kirsch, PhD led participants through a workshop recreating the anatomy of the brain in a tridimensional model. 

On Thursday night, we made our way up into the black forest where we enjoyed the view over the whole Rhine-Valley as we shared in a wonderful meal.

Before the Sutter Distributor Conference^© came to an end, everyone got a chance to participate in a hands-on workshop to apply what they had learned under supervision and with the support of our attending doctors. Finally, on Friday afternoon CEO Bert Sutter and his team awarded the five top-performing distributors.
