This year, the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies met in Athens, Greece.
According to the motto “Neurosurgery: from the Classics to the future” the congress attracted
more than 1200 delegates and 50 companies from the medical industry into the Greek capital.
The EANS is a major event in the field of neurosurgery so Sutter was present with its own booth. By presenting the portfolio of
microsurgery instruments and radiofrequency generators, we have had the great opportunity to discuss the applications and our
products onsite with key opinion leaders from all over Europe, Asia and also the USA.
Especially our 4th generation of forceps, the zhora, has drawn a lot of attention due to its extraordinary precision which is needed
in this field. We also received a lot of great feedback for the Calvian endo-pen because of the handling and haptics. Some customers
just came by to the booth to tell us how much they appreciate working with both the zhora and the endo-pen and how happy they are with the results.
The event was a great success and a resource to gain even more knowledge and market expertise.
We are already looking forward to meeting you at the EANS 2017 in beautiful Venice.
