For the 7th time, PD Dr. Elmar Oestreicher invited ENT doctors to his workshop on dermatosurgery and aesthetic procedures in Meppen, Germany, that took place on March 31 and April 1, 2017. In different lectures given by him and PD Dr. Elias Scherer, participants learned about the many possibilities and advantages of the 4MHz radiofrequency technology in both dermatosurgical and aesthetic procedures. The workshop offered a great mix of theoretical knowledge, live surgeries and practical exercises.
The Sutter CURIS® 4MHz radiofrequency generator is one of the most versatile devices on the market. ENT surgeons around the world have been working with the CURIS® in sleep surgery for many years. RaVoR™ (Radiofrequency Volume Reduction) on turbinates, soft palate, and tongue base, as well as tonsillotomy have become the signature applications for the CURIS® 4MHz radiofrequency generator. However, the device is not limited to these applications. The removal of skin tumors in the area of the face and neck, as well as aesthetic procedures such as blepharoplasty, and the removal of fibroma, naevi, and spider veins are an important part of the ENT field, too. With its 4MHz radiofrequency technology in combination with the ArrowTip™ microdissection electrodes, the CURIS® is well suited for these procedures.
We were happy to support the workshop together with our German distribution partner Neuwirth Medical Products.
