For 15 years now, German welfare organizations such as Caritas, Diakonie and the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Employment and Tourism of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg have acknowledged social commitment by awarding a prize to small and medium-sized businesses. In the course of this award we were again honored for our social commitment that goes beyond the duties of day-to-day working life.
Social commitment is a core value of our philosophy
Taking responsibility for the society not only guides us as a medical technology company, but is also an integral part of our corporate philosophy. Through various charity projects, we aim to make a contribution to society.
This includes also our child sponsorships through SOS Children's Villages and World Vision. Each employee receives a child sponsorship through one of the organizations. With the sponsorships supported by Sutter, children all over the world are given the chance of a dignified life and education.
Another project that is close to our heart is the coloring book as part of the initiative Help for Children. Everyday situations described in the book help children learn how to set boundaries, as well as detect and defend themselves from physical approaches that make them feel uncomfortable.
We are pleased to receive this award and hope that it will inspire others to engage in social projects, too. After all, it's often the little things in life that can make a big difference in the world.
